Building the infrastructure layer for AI and freight

Confident, founder-led, and engineering-driven — Watt Systems is building the power systems the next decade will run on.

Our story

A platform company, by design

Watt Systems was built around a single technical insight — and the conviction to apply it across two enormous markets.

Mission

Build the power infrastructure for what comes next

Watt Systems exists to solve a single, defining constraint of the next decade: delivering massive, reliable power from the grid to the point of use — whether that point is an AI compute hall or a heavy-duty truck.

Company overview

One company, two platforms

Watt Systems is the parent company operating WattEV, our freight electrification platform, and WattAI, our AI data center power platform. Both are built on a shared engineering foundation.

Origin

It started with freight

WattEV set out to prove that heavy-duty freight could go electric at diesel-parity cost — combining depot development with megawatt charging, truck operations and services, brokerage and load aggregation to create a vertically integrated platform.

Expansion

From depots to data centers

The same power-conversion technology that energizes charging depots applies directly to the surging power demands of AI. WattAI extends the platform into the data center.

Shared technology

A common core

Solid-state transformer technology converts medium-voltage grid power into regulated, high-density DC — the shared core beneath both platforms.

Engineering & manufacturing

Built to deploy

Watt Systems pairs deep power-electronics engineering with a manufacturing approach designed for repeatable, fast deployment at scale.

Future vision

The infrastructure layer for AI and freight

Our ambition is to be the foundational power-infrastructure layer for two of the most important industries of the coming decade.
